How Much Does It Cost Per Year?

  • Adult - £36.50*

  • Junior (under 18) - £20

  • Family Member - £10 (Requires at least one full adult or junior member per household)

  • Associate Member - £17 (Resident more than 40 miles from the club site)

  • Group Membership (subject to committee approval) - 1 adult + n x £10.

  • Non-BCU Member Levy - This is included in the MCC subscription and is £2.50 It Includes BCU 3rd party insurance and other affiliation benefits, not if you are already a member you can select the discount (£2.50) on our subscription page (hit JOIN above)


*Note that you pay full membership if you join in between 1 Jan and 30 Jun, £19.50 thereafter apart from December where you are charged the full amount but get the next years subscription included. The membership year runs 1st Jan to 31st December

Equipment and Session Rates
 

  • Session Fee - Free for members / £2 non members

  • Session + Equipment Hire - £2 Members / £4 non members

  • Session + Boat + Equipment - £4 Members / £6 non members
     

Notes:

  • Equipment includes: paddle, buoyancy aid, helmet and spray deck.

  • Guest membership provides insurance cover.

  • Guests are allowed 3 sessions before they are required to join the club; this is due to limitations of our insurance.

  • Session hire covers the Marple club site and the River Goyt from Brabyns Park/Roman Lakes during club sessions and events only.
     

Off-Site Boat Hire

Club boats and equipment can be hired by members only for use off-site. Before taking the equipment off-site it must be booked with the equipment officer.

  • Entire Week - £25/£10
